Northridge Mall in Salinas is the largest and only enclosed mall in the Monterey Bay area.

Originally a small shopping center with JC Penney, Macy's and Mervyns, in 1982 the mall expanded south from JC Penney to an existing Sears store. Now, you must walk through JC Penney in order to get between the newer southern wing and the original northern wing.

Stores

Most of what you'll find here are national retailers, such as Old Navy, The Gap, Aeropostale, and Express. The department stores are full size with a complete line of merchandise.

A convenience center across the parking lot from Macy's also offers a Rite Aid, Michael's, and HomeTown Buffet.

Across the parking lot from JC Penney is a fourteen-screen Century Theatres and Best Buy

Food

A nice food court can be found at the entrance between JC Penney and Sears.
